15 Gallon Tall Aquarium Tank Pictures to Pin on Pinterest - PinsDaddy
My 15 gallon tall aquarium. I haven't have a tank in years and thought that this would be a good first step back into the hobby. I've got some feeder minnows (White Clouds), a couple of pregnant Guppies that have already gifted me with some fry, a trio of albino cory cats and attempting to develop a nicely planted tank.Basically, I purchased the mixed media 20 high cabinet storage stand from Drs. Foster and Smith website, for my 15 gallon extra high aquarium. My apartment only allows up to 10 gallon aquariums, so I figured the 15 gallon high with the same foot print, but just 6" taller than a 10 gallon, was the perfect solution. (I had two 10's on a double stand before, and the apartment maintenance man didn't blink an eye. I don't think they care really. We have been here 4 years, I'm not worried). This is a look into my 15 gallon tall aquarium. I grew up in a family that always had tropical fish but it has been many years since I have had any tanks, This is foray into the aquarium life again. I started with a 15 gallon aquarium kit plus a heater. added some feeder fish (White Cloud Mountain Minnows), a couple of pregnant guppies and a trio of albino cory cats. I also have a good start on some plants and I've planted an assortment of aquatic bulbs. I have an outside water trough that some of these guys may be spending the summer in and we will see where this takes me. Hope to update occasionally.I was wondering what you guys think would be good to put in a 15 gallon tall aquarium? (13in.W, 13in.L, 24in. H) I will have a filter rated for a 30 gallon aquarium. I will, of course, cycle the tank before adding fish.Thank you for reading my thread, I have been reviewing this forum and learning from it for a long time I have asked a question. I currently own an Aqueon 15 gallon tall aquarium with a 12 inch 8 watt 6,700k fluorescent light bulb. I would like to supplement the lighting on this aquarium to better facilitate plant growth. I have been doing some research but am very much a novice and beginner with aquariums, I would very much appreciate your advice as to how I can do this and am open to any suggestions. : )My setup pictured above is the Aqueon 15 Gallon Fish Tank. I’ve owned many fish tanks, but this is my first tall tank and it won’t be my last either. I highly recommend this style aquarium and I’ve been very satisfied with the model by Aqueon. The tank and stand are separate, but are designed for one another so the fit and finish is perfect.
