Fish Feeder Programmable Automatic Food Dispenser Tank Aquarium Clock Timer New
Going on vacation soon and I need to feed my fishes and shrimps, so I came up with this gadget to feed them.
Fish food container has a tiny hole cut such that a small amount of food drops out when the servo turns to make the hole face the bottom.
Now just testing the Arduino code. Feeding frequency will probably be 4 hourly since only tiny amount is dispensed each time. Need to make fixture to mount the servo above aquarium. Container will eventually be hot glued to the horn of the servo.

The Reefsicle Frozen Food Feeder is a novel, patent-pending product that slowly dispenses a portioned amount of freshly thawed frozen food to your reef aquarium throughout the day. Why is important? Many reef fish have small stomachs and naturally graze on small amounts food throughout the day. Most aquarists feed once or twice daily, and this is not natural nor ideal. Existing automated feeders dispense prepared pellet or flake food which have inferior nutritional benefits to fresh food. For those that don’t know, an auto feeder is a piece of equipment that dispenses food at scheduled intervals. You can easily program the timer to feed at any time you want, and then let it do all the work for you. Almost like a computer for your aquarium, they bring technology into pet ownership. Keep reading to find out the benefits, as well as the pitfalls to avoid when buying, so you don’t get a poor quality product.
